At Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home and Crematorium, Inc., we've expanded our facilities to better accommodate the families we serve, ensuring your loved one never leaves our care. Our new crematorium sits adjacent to our current funeral home and houses a remembrance chapel, state-of-the-art cremation equipment, and arrangement office. Our staff has been carefully trained and certified in crematory operation. We would be happy to give you a personal tour of the facility.
Our traditional cremation package is much like that of a traditional burial, except with cremation being the final disposition. A cremation casket is used for a formal public viewing, followed by a funeral service. After the funeral, the deceased is cremated. The cremains can then be buried, scattered, or returned to the family in an urn of their choice (included).
In this package, your loved one is prepared for a private family viewing in our chapel (a cremation casket is used), followed by the cremation process. Once cremation is complete, a Celebration of Life service is held with a one hour visitation. The cremated remains can then be buried, scattered or returned to the family in an urn of their choice (included).
This package gives families the ability to say goodbye to their loved one without having any type of formal viewing or funeral service. The deceased is embalmed, dressed, and casketed in one of our cremation caskets. A private family farewell then takes place, followed by the cremation process. The cremains are then returned to the family in an urn of their choice (included).
Our direct cremation is the most simplistic of the cremation packages and involves no formal viewing, funeral, or graveside services. The deceased is removed from place of death, refrigeration is used, and all necessary paperwork is completed. The cremation process then takes place and the cremains are returned to the family in a temporary urn.
If your family does decide to use cremation, all cremation caskets and containers are available and suitable to be cremated. Unfortunately, metal/steel caskets cannot be selected because they cannot be cremated.
If you have any questions or concerns about our cremation services, please do not hesitate to call and speak to one of our licensed funeral directors at 717-532-2211.
