Zane Cook

Zane Allen Cook, 27, of Waynesboro, PA went to heaven on Sunday, June 17, 2012 after a long battle with gastric cancer.
He was born December 4, 1984 in Chambersburg, Zane was the beloved son of John A. and Darlene S. Varner Cook of Waynesboro.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his beloved sister, Tabitha N. Ulrich and her husband Glenn, his beloved brother Derek W. Cook, two nephews, Rylee C. and Jacob T. Ulrich all of Waynesboro, paternal grandparents, John W. and Marlene Cook of Chambersburg, and numerous uncles and aunts
Zane was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Charles M., Sr. and Linda A. Varner.
He was employed at the Manitowoc Company in Shady Grove with a wonderful group of co-workers who supported him through his illness.
Zane attended Chambersburg and Waynesboro Schools, graduating from Waynesboro High School in 2003. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, working on his cars, riding his motorcycle and fishing.
Funeral services will be held Friday, June 22, 2012 in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home Inc., Shippensburg at 4 p.m. Officiating will be The Rev. Reuben Coldsmith. Burial will be private. A viewing will be held Friday afternoon from 2 p.m. until the time of the service.
