Zachary Wayne Dalton, 24, of Hurt, VA, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, December 29, 2022 in Mechanicsburg, PA.
Born Saturday, June 27, 1998 in Lynchburg, VA., he was a son of the late Noel Wayne Dalton and Cheryl Rowland Ferguson.
Zach worked as a solar panel installer for Fusion Mechanical. He loved fishing, music, and piecing anything together. Zach was always down to go for a cruz.
He is survived by his paternal grandmother, Mary Layne Dalton; maternal grandparents, Ellis and Hilda Motley; brothers, Chris (wife Krystle) Lewis, and their children, Brett, and Kacie, Ryan Bailey, and Daryl Kershner; sisters, Cody (husband Sean Rudder) Dalton, and their children, Hannah, Savannah, and Aldin, Tabitha Childress, and her children Andrew, and Aubrey, Patricia Kershner, and her son, Landon Lopez; uncle, Richard (wife Penny) Dalton, and their children, Russell, Jason, and Christian; and one aunt, Vickie (husband Sidney) Hall, and their son, Justin.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by paternal grandfather, Owen J. Dalton, two uncles, Mark and Leslie Dalton, and a cousin Logan Hall.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
