Zachary Cullen

August 19, 1999 — August 28, 2022

Zachary Matthew Cullen, beloved son of Raymond P. and Deborah A. (Naugle) Cullen, passed from this world into the loving arms of his Heavenly Father, on Sunday, August 28, 2022.

Zachary was born on August 19, 1999 in Camp Hill, PA, at Holy Spirit Hospital. In 2018 he graduated from Shippensburg Area High School and was currently studying Business Management at Shippensburg University. He was also developing a technology company on the blockchain platform, a dream he had been working on for a few years. In addition to his technology company, he was passionate about basketball. Starting in the midget league, Zachary played for the Celtics with his brother and was coached by his father and oldest brother. He then played for three travel teams (Mid-Penn Motion, The Chili’s, and Keystone Pride). Another team that he loved a part of was his church league team, playing with his father and brother. Last year, his college intramural team won the championship. During his years at Shippensburg University, Zachary worked for Papa John’s delivering pizza.

In addition to his parents, Zachary is survived by two brothers, Joshua R. Diehl (wife Emalie – the sister he always wanted) and Brendon R. Cullen (girlfriend Rachel Horton) and nieces Isla G. Diehl and Tenley M. Diehl, all of Shippensburg, PA; paternal grandfather, and Richard L. Naugle of Chambersburg. Also loving Zachary were his aunts and uncles, Joseph and Patrice Collins of Swedesboro, NJ, Deborah McColgan of Woolwich, NJ, John and Lorraine Wristbridge of Ocean City, NJ, Jake and Carol Redding of Springfield, PA, Frank and Nancy Cross of Secane, PA, Kirk and Deborah Naugle of Shippensburg, PA, and Susan Fink of Newtown Square, PA. Zachary was blessed with many cousins who were really like friends and so many friends that he loved like family.

Preceding him in death were his paternal grandparents, Raymond P. and Theresa V. Cullen; his maternal grandmother, Lana G. Naugle; and his beloved uncle, Jack McColgan.

His funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, September 2, 2022, at the King Street United Brethren Church, 162 East King Street, CHAMBERSBURG, PA. Pastor Don Baker will officiate. Interment will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Shippensburg. A viewing will be held Thursday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, 112 West King St. Shippensburg, PA, and one hour prior to the service on Friday morning at the church.
