Wilma K. Dupuis, 81, of Chambersburg, formerly of Shippensburg, passed away Monday, September 13, 2021 in the Chambersburg Hospital.
She was born January 5, 1940 in Newburg, PA. Wilma was a daughter of the late Willis J. and Ethel Wilma Bistline Nye.
She attended Mt. Pleasant United Brethren Church, Chambersburg. Wilma was a United States Navy Veteran. She was a 1958 graduate of the Chambersburg High School. Wilma was a member of TOPS Chambersburg Chapter #0501.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William R. Dupuis who passed away February 7, 1999. Two brothers, Edwin and Galen Nye are also deceased.
Wilma is survived by two children, William J. Dupuis and Andrea R. Bricker and her husband Richard; five grandchildren, Christian Dupuis and Noah, Liam, Emma and Andrew Bricker, all of Chambersburg; two sisters, Frances Nye and Kay Clark, both of Shippensburg; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday, September 20, 2021 at 10 a.m. in the Mt. Pleasant United Brethren Church, Chambersburg. Officiating will be Pastor James O. Bolich. A private burial will be held in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery on Tuesday. A viewing will be held Sunday evening from 3-5 p.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Shippensburg and one hour prior to the services in church on Monday.
