William A. “Bill” Reagan, Jr., 90, of Shippensburg, passed away the afternoon of Sunday, October 10, 2021 at his home with his loving wife and family by his side.
He was born on April 20, 1931 in Nazareth, a son of the late William A. and Gertrude (Miller) Reagan, Sr.
Bill graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in agriculture. He then worked for Penn State University as an agriculture agent in Franklin County for 47 years. Bill loved boating and spending time with his family at Lake Raystown. He was also a United States Army Veteran, serving during the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Florence E. (Hoover) Reagan; three children, Pamela (Fred) Burke, Terry (Michelle) Reagan, and Jodi (Skip) Mackey; nine grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
The family would like to express their special thanks to Bill’s caregiver, Gary Swope.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc., Shippensburg. There will be no public viewing, visitation, or service at this time. A celebration of life service will be scheduled at a later date and time.
