William Scott Baker, 56, of St. Thomas, departed this life on the afternoon of Wednesday, June 26, 2019, at his home.
He was born on December 11, 1962, in Frederick, MD, the son of William F. Baker and the late Marlene M. (Etzler) Baker-Owens.
Scott spent much of his life working as a truck driver. He drove for many different companies over the years. In his free time, Scott liked riding his Harley. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing in his younger years.
In addition to his father, William F. Baker & wife Joyce of LaPlata, MD, he is survived by his wife, Laura J. Baker of Stephens City, VA; two sons, Gregory Scott Baker of Mt. Airy, MD, and James David Baker of Stephens City, VA; sisters, Samantha Messick and Tracy Baker; and numerous cousins.
Scott was preceded in death by his mother, Marlene M. Baker-Owens, who died just nine days ago, on June 17, 2019.
His funeral service and interment will be held at a future date and time. The Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc., Shippensburg, has been entrusted with his funeral arrangements.
