Wayne C. Winters, 83, of Shippensburg, passed away the morning of Monday, September 18, 2023 at his home.
He was born on May 29, 1940 in Mainsville, a son of the late Carl and Ida E. (Jones) Winters.
Wayne was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt. He also enjoyed trips to the cabin and going for mountain rides.
He is survived by his wife, Charlotte L. (Gilbert) Winters of Shippensburg; one daughter, Dena McKee and husband Tom of Orrstown; two granddaughters, Katlyn McKee and fiancé Jeremiah Snyder of Orrstown and Kristen McKee and fiancé James Moe of Chambersburg; and three siblings, Berk Winters and wife Pat of Lancaster, William Winters of Mainsville, and Delores Ocker of Mainsville.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Patricia Lynch.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc., Shippensburg. Per Wayne’s wishes, there will be no public viewing, visitation, or service.
