Wayne Craig

Wayne F. Craig III, 57, of Orrstown, passed away the morning of Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at his home.

He was born on Friday, June 3, 1966 in Chambersburg, a son of Glenda “Kay” (Gayman) Craig and the late Wayne F. Craig, Jr.

Wayne was a 1984 graduate of the Shippensburg High School. His life consisted of farming and livestock dealing within the family business, Wayne F. Craig & Sons. As an outdoorsman, Wayne loved taking hunting trips, fishing, and entertaining at the family cabin. He enjoyed traveling, as well as spending time with his grandchildren.

He was a member of the Hub City Club and the Shippensburg Legion Post #223 S.A.L.

In addition to his mother, Kay Craig, he is survived by his wife, Judy A. (Plum) Craig; one son, Wayne F. (Laken) Craig IV; one stepson, Brandon Alloway; two granddaughters, Everly and Maizey Craig; two siblings, Cathy (Randy) Van Scyoc and Timothy (Stephanie) Craig; and his best friend, Clifford “Butch” Swartz.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc., Shippensburg. Pastor Brad Houge will officiate. Burial will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery. A viewing will be held Tuesday evening from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
