Wayne H. Beltz, 87, of Orrstown, passed away Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at the Chambersburg Hospital.
Born Sunday, March 4, 1934, he was a son of the late William H. and Anna M. Miller Beltz.
Wayne retired from T.B. Woods in Chambersburg with 25 years of service. He was a member of the Green Village Church of God. He was a life member of LSL Sportsman Club, Orrstown, the Good Sam’s Camping Club and the Upper Strasburg Senior Center.
Wayne loved to travel all over the world alongside his wife Clara. He enjoyed hunting, especially in Montana and Canada, where he killed deer and bear. He also enjoyed building model airplanes, some of which were for his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Clara Marie Wilson Beltz; three daughters, Donna L. McGhee, Shippensburg, Debra A. (companion Robert Wilson) Johnson, Chambersburg and Diane M. (husband Mark) Myers, Orrstown; one brother, Howard L. (wife Kathy) Snoke, Lititz; 10 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Terry Lee Beltz and two brothers, Arthur and Galen Beltz.
A graveside service will be held Monday, June 14, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. in Parklawns Memorial Gardens. Officiating will be Pastor Doug Coldsmith. A viewing will be held Sunday, from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium Inc.
