Warren J. Grove, 91, of Shippensburg, passed away the morning of Thursday, January 5, 2023 at the Shippensburg Health Care Center.
He was born on August 18, 1931 in Chambersburg, a son to the late Roy E. and Ruth C. (Hull) Grove.
Warren worked as an assembly line worker for AMP Manufacturing. He enjoyed farming, gardening, and eating, especially ice cream. Warren was also a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church, Orrstown.
He is survived by his wife, Janet L. (Alleman) Grove; two daughters, Cathy (Lester) Mooney and Diane (Steven) Karper; four grandchildren, Anthony (Malinda) Parson, Cindy Alleman, Jessica Compel, and Nathan Mooney, four great-grandchildren, Alexis Green, Steven Alleman, Madison Mentzer, and Rowan Mooney; and three great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Kenneth, Harold, Richard, and Donald Grove; and two sisters, Carlean Heberlig and Doris Grove.
A viewing will be held on Monday, January 9, 2023 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc., Shippensburg. A graveside service will follow on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. in the Pleasant Hall Cemetery. Rev. William W. DeHass will officiate.
