Walter Stouffer

Walter C. “Jim” Stouffer, 80, of Shippensburg, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at his home.
Born Thursday, January 14, 1943 in Chambersburg, PA. He was a son of the late Walter S. and Betty L. Jacobs Stouffer.
He was a 1961 graduate of Shippensburg High School and attended the Shippensburg State College for one year in 1968-1969.
He retired in 2003 after 26 years of Federal Service that included four years in the United States Air Force from 1964-1967 having served the last year in Vietnam.
He is survived by two sisters, Marilyn L. Stouffer, and Kathryn L. (husband Arthur) Sites; and two brothers, Richard L. (wife Beverly) Stouffer, and Edward C. (wife Mary) Stouffer, all of Shippensburg.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium Inc. As per Walter’s request, there will be no funeral or memorial services held.
