Vivian I. Diller, 98, of Chambersburg, passed away Saturday, December 24, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Born Tuesday, May 27, 1924 in Shippensburg, Cumberland County, she was a daughter of the late Moses M. and Fannie Myrtle Diehl Ocker.
Vivian was a 1943 graduate of the Shippensburg Area Senior High School. She was a Member of the Shippensburg First Church of God where she taught children’s Sunday School Class. She later attended the Greenvillage Church of God.
She was a lifelong dairy farmer alongside her husband Leroy. Vivian was a lifelong Charter member of the Franklin County Farm Women’s Group # 2.
Vivian is survived by one son, Roger L. (wife Joyce) Diller, Shippensburg; one grandson, Josh L. (wife Nicole) Diller, Shippensburg; one granddaughter, Danae L. (huband Tom) Hudzina, West Chester, PA; seven great grandchildren, Jack Hudzina, Jesse Hudzina, Daniel Hudzina, all of West Chester, PA; Chloe Diller, Vivian Diller, Silas Diller, and Violet Diller, all of Shippensburg; and one brother, Robert E. Ocker, Shippensburg.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son, Richard Diller; and two sisters, Bernita Gilbert and Phyllis Hykes.
Funeral services will be held Monday, January 2, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in the Greenvillage Church of God, with Pastor Matthew Tosten, Pastor Tom Hudzina, and Pastor Jeremy Garman officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery. A viewing will be held Monday, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service at the church.
