Virginia P. (Parson) Sheets, 73, of Shippensburg, passed away the morning of Sunday, April 24, 2022 at the Laurel Lakes Rehabilitation & Wellness Center.
She was born on March 14, 1949 in Chambersburg, a daughter of the late Lawrence L. and Zada K. (McConaughey) Parson.
Virginia was a member of Grand Point Church, Chambersburg. She loved watching football, baseball, and racing. She also enjoyed crocheting and traveling.
She is survived by two sons, Dean E. Miller and significant other Heather, and Curt L. Miller and wife Missy, both of Shippensburg; six grandchildren, Lacey M. Lex and husband Scott, Nathan E. Miller and fiancé Lauren Hurst, Morgan A. Miller, Kendra L. Miller and fiancé Layton Hoffmann, Colby L. Miller, and Kaylee L. Miller, all of Shippensburg; three great-grandchildren, Grayson E. Miller, Sophia E. Hurst, and Maverick Hoffmann; and three siblings, Charles H. Parson of Shippensburg, Donna L. Eyer of Chambersburg, and Randy D. Parson of Shippensburg.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Lawrence A. Parson.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 29, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the Grand Point Church, Chambersburg with Pastor Lawrence Metzler officiating. Burial will follow in the Parklawns Memorial Gardens. A viewing will be held Friday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service at the church.
