Virginia Lee “Ginny” Crum, 62, of Shippensburg, passed away Saturday, January 7, 2017 at the Chambersburg Hospital.
Born Saturday, February 6, 1954 in Galway, NY, she was a daughter of the late Donald and Ida M. Fox Frederick.
Ginny was a WOTM Ladies Auxiliary Board Member of the Shippensburg Moose and a member of the Minnequa Social Club, Shippensburg. She enjoyed making crafts and loved to entertain parties.
Surviving is her husband of 5 years Alan B. Crum, three daughters, Carrie M. Allen, Mayfield, NY, Rickell L. (husband Charles), RobbinsStaunton, VA and Angel Bunnie (husband Michael) Foster, Carlisle; one son, Joseph W. Rote, NY; four sisters, Cheryl Quinn, Dona Frederick, Karen McGarvey, all of Galway, NY, and Kathy Goff, NC, one brother, Donald J. Frederick, Sr., Galway, NY; 16 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; one step son, Tommy Crum, Carlisle; one step daughter, Carrie Meade, Shippensburg and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Neal Alan Rote and two twin great grandchildren Karson and Kinlee Foster.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 14, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. at the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium with the Rev. Harold E. Yeager officiating. Burial will be private. A viewing will be held Saturday, from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Pinnacle Health West Shore Women’s Cancer Center, 2035 Technology Parkway #2001, Mechanicsburg, PA 17050.
