Victor Kline "Vic" Coble

Victor (Vic) Kline Coble, 77, of Shippensburg, PA passed away peacefully on October 28, 2024, surrounded by his loving family at the York Hospital. 

Born on March 20, 1947, in York Haven, Vic was a pillar of strength and an everlasting source of love for his family and friends. He was a devoted husband to Shelby J. (Elmes) Coble, with whom he shared 34 years of marriage, and a cherished father to Bobby Eckenrode, Carolyn Clements, and Scott Eckenrode. 

 Vic was known for his warm smile and gentle heart. He dedicated his life to music and serving in ministry throughout his long life. A passionate bird watcher and train enthusiast, he spent much of his free time enjoying the outdoors, soaking in the sun. 

 Vic is survived by his beloved wife, Shelby Coble, his children, Bobby & Mandy Eckenrode, Brad & Carolyn Clements, Scott & Amy Eckenrode, grandchildren, Alex Eckenrode, Hailey Eckenrode, Carter Eckenrode, Sydney Clements, Cole Eckenrode & Connor Clements; and numerous family and friends who will remember him for his laughter, wisdom, and unwavering love.

 Vic Coble will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. May he rest in eternal peace.

 Memorial services will be held on Thursday, November 7, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Prince Street Church, 20 N. Prince Street, Shippensburg, with Pastor Ronnie Martin, Pastor Scott Eckenrode, and Pastor Michael Gleason officiating. 

 In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Prince Street Church, 17 N. Penn Street, Shippensburg, PA 17257.
