Vesta P. Bear, 84, of Newville, died on the evening of Friday, May 10, 2013, at the Chambersburg Hospital.
She was born on December 20, 1928, in Newville, daughter of the late Carl and Ethel Miller Thomas.
Vesta was a homemaker throughout her life.
She is survived by a son, Paul Miller of Newville; two daughters, Sandra K. Killian of Shippensburg and Patsy Ann Gipe of Newville; and several grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her husband, Robert B. Miller, who died on September 23, 1989, and a son, John B. Miller, who died on September 4, 2010.
Her funeral services and interment, entrusted to the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home, Inc., Shippensburg, were private.
