Velva G. Robinson, 58, of Fayetteville, died on Tuesday, November 9, 2010, at the Chambersburg Hospital.
Born on November 10, 1951, in Chambersburg, a daughter of the late Clarence David and Edna L. Cover Stouffer.
Velva was currently employed at the Falling Spring Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, in Chambersburg, for the past 13 years.
She was a member of the Minnequa Social Club, Shippensburg, enjoyed playing board games, putting together puzzles, going for walks, and boating with her family. Her best times were spent doing things, spending time, with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her four children; Debra (Chester) Helman of Fayetteville, James W. (Angela) Carmack of Chambersburg, Bobbie (Robert) Mackey of Shippensburg, and Barbie (Daniel) Shauf of Chambersburg, four grandchildren; Zachary and Austin Helman of Fayetteville and Holly and Ashley Mackey of Shippensburg, two brothers; Philip and Marlin Stouffer of Shippensburg, two sisters; Virginia Stouffer of Mongul and Valeria Hull of Chambersburg, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Sarah Hull and one brother, Lester Stouffer.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 13, 2010 at the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home, Inc., Shippensburg. The Rev. Richard E. Mose will officiate. Interment will be in the Parklawns Memorial Gardens, Chambersburg. Viewing will be Friday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at the funeral home.
