Vanessa Goldsby, 53, of Shippensburg, died on April 13, 2010, at the Chambersburg Hospital.
Born on January 10, 1957 in Oakland, CA, the daughter of Joe and Willie Ruth Lott Valdes.
Vanessa owned and operated Vangold’s, in Chambersburg, for many years, where she was a floral designer and arranger.
She was very fond of animals and liked to garden and make flower arrangements. She supported the local fire companies and liked to attend functions at the local social clubs.
She is survived by her husband and companion of over thirty years, Bert Goldsby; two sons, one daughter, one brother, several nieces and nephews, and many good neighbors and friends.
Her viewing will be on Sunday, April 18, 2010 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home, Inc., Shippensburg. Burial will be on Monday, at 11:00 a.m., at the Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA.
