Twyla G. Perry, 94, of Shippensburg, departed this life on Thursday, November 30, 2023 at the Shippensburg Health Care Center.
Born Sunday, November 17, 1929, in Shippensburg, she was a daughter of the late Roy and Kathryn P. Railing Boldosser.
Throughout her life, Twyla worked as a laborer for SKF Industries. She was a longtime member of the Mainsville United Brethren Church in Shippensburg where she attended regularly.
Twyla is survived by one daughter, Judy A. Ocker of Shippensburg; one granddaughter, Penny (Nicholas) Burns of Shippensburg; one great-granddaughter, McKayla N. Burns; three siblings, Wanda J. Heckman, Geraldine K. McNew, Garnet W. “Pete” (Carole) Heckman; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Twyla was preceded in death by her husband Joseph C. Perry, who passed away August 12, 2001; and five siblings, George F. Heckman, Galen E. “Gene” Heckman, Gerald W. Heckman, Gordon W. “Jim” Heckman; and Chloe E. McKenrick.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in the Spring Hill Cemetery, with Pastor Donald Herb officiating.
