Tina A. Henderson-Madison, 76, of Shippensburg, PA passed away Easter Sunday, March 31, 2024, at the Wellspan Chambersburg Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
Tina was born on July 7, 1947, in Adams County, PA. She was a daughter of the late Boyd E. Henderson and Mary Katherine Henderson.
Tina married Ronald P. Madison on April 27, 1997. Tina worked as a registered nurse for the City of Philadelphia and retired after 41 years. Tina volunteered her time at the Shippensburg Produce Outreach, managing procurement to ensuring nutritious food was provided to those in need.
At the time of her passing, Tina was a member of Memorial Lutheran Church for 16 years. Prior to this, she was a member of St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Philadelphia where she served as church council president, sang with the adult choir, worked with the youth of the church in many capacities including serving as a Girl Scout leader, and volunteered with the Food Share program, picking up food and managing St. Peter's food pantry.
Tina is survived by her husband Ronald, her daughter Chandra and her children Tyjon and Alexis, her daughter Natasha and her son Eliyjah, son Terrell and his wife Aisha and their children, Kennedy, Kai, Terrell Jr., Tahir, son Ronald Jr, and son Eric and his wife Kianna and his children Eric Jr, Erianna, Aram, Sydney (all of Philadelphia). Her nephew Stephen and his wife Alyssa their children Adrianna, Kylie and Caleb (Allentown). Her brother Boyd and his wife Delores Welker (Gettysburg), her sister Pam Richardson (Shippensburg) her cousin Linda and her husband Barry Singley and their daughter Courtney (Shippensburg). Niece Amy and Nephew Buddy As well as many other family and friends and her fur baby Nicolas.
A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, April 6, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the Memorial Lutheran Church in Shippensburg, with Pastor Godfred Effisah officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the Church. Burial will be private.
