Tina Franklin

Tina N. Franklin, 42, of Shippensburg, died Monday, January 10, 2011 in Manorcare, Chambersburg.
Born July 19, 1968 in Chambersburg, she was a daughter of Ronald L. and Carol A. Sites Franklin of Shippensburg.
She was employed by ABRAXAS in South Mountain and worked part-time at the Shippensburg American Legion. Tina was a member of the Oscar M. Hykes American Legion Post # 223, Shippensburg and was a member of their Marching Unit. She was a girl’s softball coach with Shippensburg Little League and was a member of their board. Tina was 1986 graduate of the Shippensburg Area Senior High School.
In addition to her parents she is survived by a brother, Anthony B. Franklin, her companion, Karen J. Marranca and her children, Ashlyn K. Wernicki and Mykenzie J. Marranca all of Shippensburg.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 16, 2011 in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home Inc., Shippensburg at 3:00 p.m. Officiating will be The Rev. James O. Bolich. Burial will be private. A viewing will be held Sunday afternoon from 1-3 p.m. in the funeral home.
