Thomas Andrew Woodrey, 24, of Shippensburg, departed this life on the afternoon of Thursday, January 14, 2016 at the M.S. Hershey Medical Center.
He was born on August 22, 1991, in Sedalia, MO, a son of Rev. George E. and Debra S. Hall Woodrey. Thomas was a 2010 graduate of Big Spring High School and was a member of the National Society of High School Scholars.
Thomas was a student at Shippensburg University, enrolled in the Physics program and was also involved with the campus Army ROTC.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, Robert “Woody” Woodrey and wife Alicia; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins, located in Ohio, Arkansas, and Missouri.
His funeral services, entrusted to the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home, Inc., Shippensburg, will be private. His father, Rev. George E. Woodrey and aunt, Frances A. Pasbach, will officiate. Interment will also be private. There will be no public viewing or visitation.
