Thomas Archambeau

Thomas Paul Archambeau, 74, of Blue Jay Circle, Orrstown, died Friday, October 31, 2014 in the Chambersburg Hospital.

Born Thursday, April 4, 1940 in Chambersburg, he was a son of the late Paul A. and Gladys S. Shuman Archambeau.

He was a United States Air Force Veteran serving during the Vietnam War. Tom was formerly employed at Letterkenny Army Depot and along with his father and brother Leo was owner and operator of the former Archambeau Beer Distributor. He also was a self employed carpenter.

Tom was a post member of the Oscar M. Hykes American Legion Post # 223, Shippensburg. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and painting and loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Tom loved to spend time at his hunting camp with his best friend Gary Hershey.

He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Juanita M. Stouffer Archambeau; one daughter, Mandy Sipko (and her husband Craig) of Tarentum; one step-daughter, Melissa Wetzel (and her husband Benjamin) of Pleasant Hall; one step-son, Keith Hershey (and his wife Amy) of Carlisle; three granddaughters, Abbey, Alaina and Autumn Punchar; two step-grandchildren, Olivia and Luke Wetzel; three siblings, Leo Archambeau and Lisa Lemming of Shippensburg, and Bertie Miller (and her husband Dave) of York Haven.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Greenvillage Church of God with Pastor Matthew Tosten officiating. Burial will be private. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service in the church. Military Honors by the Shippensburg Veterans Council will immediately follow the service at the church.
