Thelma Jean Fortna, 83, a resident at The Shook Home, Chambersburg and formerly of Lurgan Ave., Shippensburg, died Monday, December 10, 2012 in the home.
Born Thursday, May 2, 1929 in Shippensburg, she was a daughter of the late William M. and Carrie A. Lindsay Fortna.
Thelma was a member of the Middle Spring Presbyterian Church.
Thelma is survived by a sister, Anna L. Miller of Chambersburg; a brother; Dwight L. Fortna and his wife Dorothy of Silver Spring, MD; two nieces and two nephews.
A graveside service will be held Friday, December 14, 2012 at 11:30 a.m. in Spring Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Kimberley Wadlington officiating.
Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
