Teresa M. Wines-McLean

Teresa M. Wines-McLean, 62, of Shippensburg, departed this life on the morning of Monday, November 11, 2024, at her home.

She was born on November 30, 1961, in Laurel, MD, a daughter of the late George E. Wines, Sr., and Wanda J. Crawford

Teresa worked at Bimbo Bakeries, Carlisle for twelve years. In her free time she enjoyed yard sales, shopping, going to the casino, the beach, and her “girl time.” Most important though was spending time with her family, who were everything to her.

Teresa is survived by her companion, Robert Alt of Shippensburg; seven siblings, Frankie Tayman of Maryland, Barbara Faucette and husband Russ of Maryland, Tina Crawford and husband David of McConnellsburg, Earlena Hoch and husband Wayne of McConnellsburg, Cindy Souders and husband Russell of McConnellsburg, William Wines and wife Trina of Chambersburg, and Gina Spero and husband Eric of Shippensburg; six nieces; two nephews; three great nieces; and two great nephews.

In addition to her parents, Teresa was preceded in death by her biological mother, Mary Louise Fisher; her husband Lee Duncan McLean; her son, Steven Strayhorn; and two brothers, George L. Wines, Jr., and Bobby W. Vassar.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc., Shippensburg. Pastor Bub Murr will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Saturday morning at the funeral home.
