Teresa M. (Klunk) Amspacher, 70, of York, formally of Shippensburg, passed away the morning of Sunday, October 9, 2022.
She was born on Wednesday, April 16, 1952 in Hanover, a daughter of Chairmaine (Smeak) Klunk and the late Reuel Klunk.
Teresa retired as a secretary from the Shippensburg Borough. She loved knitting, crocheting, and going shopping. She had a love for food and enjoyed trips to the beach. Teresa was referred to as “Abbey” by her grandchildren, whom she loved and cherished deeply.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her two children, Jennifer L. (Bradley Jr.) Kyner, and Erik B. (Megan) Amspacher; five grandchildren, Hunter (Chelsea) Kyner, Garrett Kyner, Preston Amspacher, Sophia Amspacher, and Camdyn Amspacher; two great-grandchildren, Oaklen and Kali Kyner; five siblings, Tim (Yvonne) Klunk, Christine (Doug) Rudisill, Rick (Becky Stinnett) Klunk, Delores (Robert) Turner, and Andy (Sandy) Klunk; two brothers-in-law, Larry Marsh and Steven (Donna) Amspacher; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas E. Amspacher, who passed away on November 13, 2010. Also preceding her in death is one brother, Ronald Klunk; one sister, Agnes Wagaman; and one sister-in-law, Susan Marsh.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 13, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc., Shippensburg. Deacon Richard Ramsey will officiate. Burial will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery. A viewing will be held Wednesday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
