Steven Eugene Updegraff, 40, of Chambersburg, passed unexpectedly Sunday, December 7, 2014.
He was born March 29, 1974 in Chambersburg, PA. Steven was a son of Lawrence L. Updegraff of Fayetteville and the late B. Jean Short Updegraff. His brother Richard E. Updegraff is also deceased.
He was employed for over 20 years at Grove Manufacturing in Shady Grove. Steven enjoyed working on cars, listening to music, fishing, collecting baseball and football cards, and Hot Wheels. He was a 1993 graduate of the Chambersburg Area Senior High School. Most of all Steven was a loving father and husband.
Steven is survived by his wife, Sheila R. Fraker Updegraff whom he married January 1, 1999, three children, Scott D. Hammond, Steven R. and Shauna L. Updegraff all at home, and one sister, Melissa J. Scott of Chambersburg.
Funeral services will be held Friday, December 12, 2014 in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home Inc., Shippensburg at 1 p.m. Officiating will be Rev. Joseph Pickens. Burial will be in the Norland Cemetery, Chambersburg. A viewing will be held Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to the services on Friday.
