Steven S. “Steve” Lehner, 59, of Germantown, MD, passed away on Monday, August 28, 2023 in Wilmington, NC while vacationing with his loving family.
He was born on May 31, 1964 in Chambersburg a son of Joanne (Gayman) Lehner and the late Samuel R. Lehner. He married Sharon L. Hawbaker on June 7, 1986.
Steve was an auto technician for Fitzgerald Auto in Germantown. He enjoyed running, playing chess, and was a member of the Journey’s Crossing Church.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Sharon Lehner of Germantown; mother, Joanne (Gayman) Lehner of Chambersburg; two daughters, Jami (Phillip) Shoaf of Hagerstown and Allyson Lehner of Germantown; one granddaughter, Zoey Shoaf; and two sisters, Karen (Kevin) Dunlap of Newville and Norma Jean (Mark) Blank of Chambersburg.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc., Shippensburg. Steve’s graveside service will be private. He will be laid to rest in the Myers Cemetery, Orrstown. A celebration of life will be held at a later date and time.
