Steve J. Gardner, 63, of Newburg, passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at home.
He was born April 7, 1954 in Chambersburg, PA. Steve was a son of Lee H. and Joyce W. Mitchel Gardner of Shippensburg.
He retired from PennDot. Steve was a 1972 graduate of the Shippensburg Area Senior High School. He was a member of the Hub City Club and the Durant Motor Club. Steve enjoyed hunting, fishing and hanging out with his friends in “The Garage”.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife, Gloria J. Gardner; one son, Mitchel J. Gardner of Newburg; two brothers, Ken Gardner and his wife Carole, and Keith Gardner and his wife Lisa, all of Newburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Mike Gardner.
