Stephen Hill

August 15, 1976 — February 6, 2011

Stephen John Hawk Hill, 34, of Highspire, died unexpectedly Sunday, February 6, 2011 in the Harrisburg Hospital.
Born August 15, 1976 in Carlisle, Cumberland County, he was the husband of Denise Cassidy Hill of Highspire and a son of Charles Lewis and Linda M. Hawk Hill of Shippensburg.
He was deeply involved with his career at Classic Rock Fabrication in Mechanicsburg. Stephen was a 1995 graduate of the Shippensburg Area Senior High School.
Steve is survived by his loving wife and his 17 month old daughter Alex S. Hill; his parents; three brothers: Charles E. Hill and his wife Anne of Chambersburg, Matthew Lewis Hill and his wife Gretchen of Walker, WV, and David B. Hill of Anniston, Al; two sisters: Nancy Lynn Hill Veasey and her husband Craig of Fleetwood, Miriam R.R. Carbaugh and her husband Donald, Jr. of Fayetteville; uncles and aunts: Larry Hill of St. Thomas, Kenneth and Nancy Byers of Shippensburg, Melvin and Mildred Mathna of Pleasant Hall, and Bob and Linda Rhine of Chambersburg; father- and mother-in-law, John and Marilyn Cassidy of Wescosville; brothers- and sisters-in-law: Michelle and Jeffrey Winter of Allentown, Renée and Jordan Gushurst of West Chester, and John Cassidy of Los Angeles, CA; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 10, 2011 at 2:30 p.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home Inc., 112 W. King St., Shippensburg, PA 17257. Officiating will be The Rev. Dick Williams. Burial will be private. A viewing will be held Thursday afternoon from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the services in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a trust fund established for the benefit of his 17 month old girl, The Alex S. Hill Trust Fund, c/o Members First Federal Credit Union, P.O. Box 40, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055.
