Sonja T. Perry, 79, of Chambersburg, formerly of Shippensburg, passed away Monday, November 21, 2022 in the Chambersburg Hospital.
Sonja was born January 22, 1943 in Shippensburg, PA. She was a daughter of the late Blain and Alma Kauffman Wyrick.
Sonja retired from the Episcopal Home in Shippensburg. She was a member of the Minnequa Social Club, Durff-Kuhn VFW Post # 6168 and the Oscar M. Hykes American Legion Post # 223, all in Shippensburg.
Sonja is survived by two sons, Kelly L. Perry and his wife Sheri of McConnellsburg and Chris P. Perry and his wife Kellie of Shippensburg; six grandchildren, Daniel Reynolds, and Tucker, Logan, Kasey, Kellyn and Sheridan Perry; four great grandchildren; one niece, Lisa Suders; and one nephew, Scott Hoover. In addition to her parents, Sonja was preceded in death by one grandson, Madison Perry; and two sisters, Patsy Wyrick and Juanita Hoover.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, December 10, 2022 in the Spring Hill Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Bruce Levy officiating. There will be no viewing or visitation.
