Sona Jean Perry, 73, of Shippensburg, passed away, Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at the Hershey Medical Center.
Born July 10, 1943 in Chambersburg, PA, Sona was a daughter of the late Kenneth E. and Ruth J. Karper Spero.
She retired from the Greif Company in Shippensburg and was a graduate of the Shippensburg High School.
Sona is survived by her husband, Charles “Jack” Perry, Sr., four sons, Dale E. Perry of Carlisle, Paul E. Perry and his wife Ronda of Newburg, Tony R. Perry and his wife Brenda of Shippensburg, and Charles J. “Chuck” Perry, Jr. and his wife Susan of TN, one brother, Daniel Spero and his wife Deb of Scotland, one sister, Janet Rabuck and her husband Karl of Newburg, four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother, Kenneth Spero.
Funeral services will be held Monday, May 9, 2016 in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home, Shippensburg at 11 a.m. with The Rev. Dale H. Miller, Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens. A viewing will be held Monday morning one hour prior to the services in the funeral home.
