Shirley J. Willhide, 67, of Kissimmee, Fl., died Friday, December 23, 2016 in the Chambersburg Hospital.
Born December 28, 1948 in Enola, Cumberland County, she was a daughter of the late John and Jessee Dora Hafer Bubb, Sr.
Shirley was of the Methodist Faith and a Soldier of the Salvation Army. She was the owner and operator alongside her husband of various Restaurants and Grills in West Virginia. Shirley was a very established singer with a beautiful voice.
Surviving is her husband of 32 years, Gary E. Willhide whom she married June 17, 1984, eight children; Gary Lee Willhide, Castle Hill, ME, Timothy L. Willhide, Scotland, Brian L. Willhide, Marion, Jennifer Willhide, St. Thomas, Wayne Sheaffer, Carlisle, Jeffrey Sheaffer, Meyersdale, Scott Sheaffer, Augusta, WV and Wendy A. Bell, Quinwood, WV; one brother, William Bubb, Carlisle, three sisters; Pauline Carolus, Lancaster, Mary Bream, Bloserville and Judith Martin, Carlisle; 17 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Samuel and John Bubb, Jr and three sisters, Bernice Carolus, Barbara Marston and Linda Crum.
Funeral Service will be held Friday, December 30, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium Inc. with the Rev. Glen A. Pysell officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery. A viewing will be held Thursday, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Friday in the funeral home.
