Shari Tasker

Shari A. Tasker, 66, of Chambersburg, passed away on Friday, October 6, 2023 at the Chambersburg Hospital.

Born Saturday, April 13, 1957 in Carlisle, PA, she was a daughter of Carol C. Smith of Chambersburg, and the late J.C. Jones, Sr.

Shari was a 1975 graduate of the Shippensburg Area Senior High School. She retired as a CNA from the South Mountain Restoration Center after 25 years of service.

She was a member of St. Peters A.M.E. Church. She loved cooking and baking, and was known for her chocolate bunt cake, and her potato salad.

Shari is survived by two sons, Gerald A. (Nicole) Tasker, Fayetteville, and Jeromey M. (Tammy Stouffer) Tasker, Shippensburg; four grandchildren, Isaiah N. Tasker, Malachi A. Tasker, both of Fayetteville, Kaine M. Tasker, Shippensburg, and Tayshona Fletcher, Lebanon; two brothers, Bryan K. Jones, and J.C. Jones, Jr, one sister, Jan C. Jones, all of Chambersburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by one sister, Jessica C. Jones.

A visitation with be held Friday, October 13, 2023 from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. at the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium Inc. with Rev. Victor Johnson as celebrant.
