Saranne Elizabeth Shuller

Saranne E. Shuller, 88, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, September 30, 2024.

She was born in April 1936 in Bedford, PA. The daughter of the late Harry L. “Buck” May and Irene Mock May.

On August 15, 1971, she married Albert H. “Buck” Shuller, Jr. who survives along with two children: Karen (Gerard) Cacciatore of Carlisle, PA, and Michele Shuller of Shippensburg, PA, brother Daniel L. (Skye) May of Bedford, PA, sister, Tara L. (Dennis) Hummel of Hopewell, PA, sister-in-law Bonita May of Bedford, PA, and grandson, Vincente Cacciatore of Carlisle, PA, and numerous nieces and nephews, all of whom she loved dearly.

Saranne is preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy and James Heidorn, brother, Dr. Ronald May and son Robert J. Martin.

Sarannne graduated from Bedford High School in 1954 and the Sacred Heart Hospital School of Nursing in 1957. She held various nursing and administrative positions throughout her career. In 1996, she retired as Administrator from Sarah A. Todd Memorial Home in Carlisle.

At Saranne’s request, she will be cremated. In lieu of flowers, a small contribution may be made in her name to the Huntsdale Church of the Brethren at 170 Church Road, Carlisle, PA 17015.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium Inc., Shippensburg, PA.
