Sam Tringali Jr, dedicated husband, father, grandfather and friend, fell asleep peacefully in Shippensburg, PA, on November 29, 2022. He was the husband of Shelley and father of two sons.
Sam was born to the late Salvator J Tringali and Carmela Tringali (Bramanti) on May 28, 1959, in Chula Vista, CA. He graduated from Marian High School in 1977. Sam had a few different careers from Chef Extraordinaire to Fabulous Baker (Sourdough Sam) but he loved being a truckdriver which he fondly called “Freight Relocator”. He closed out his career at Franklin Logistics in Chambersburg, PA.
Sam met the love of his life, Shelley, in British Columbia, Canada and they were married September 24, 1994.
Sam adored Shelley enjoyed her accompanying him when long-haul trucking. Through these years they enjoyed a very close and loving friendship that continued throughout their marriage.
Sam is survived by his two sons Sammy (Katherine), Jerry (Paloma) and his grandchildren Phoenix and Hunter. Sam was proud of his sons and of how they have grown up to be responsible and respectful men.
Sam was predeceased by his brother Joe.
Sam is survived by his loving and caring sister Rose (Mike), nephew Sam, and nieces Christina and Connie.
He loved life and fought to the very end to live. He will be sadly missed and will always hold a place in our hearts. Shelley would like to extend a special thanks to the dedicated and caring staff of Chambersburg SpiriTrust Lutheran Home Care & Hospice.
A family celebration of life will take place at a future date.
The family of Sam Tringali would like to thank our dear friends, neighbours and all for the kind words and support during this time.
