Ruth Tregl

Ruth A. Tregl, 94, a resident of the Church of God Home in Carlisle, formerly of Shippensburg, died Thursday, March 8, 2012 in the home.
Born July 18, 1917 in Shippensburg, she was a daughter of the late Marshall and Esther Rhinehart Shoop.
She retired from Shippensburg University’s Custodial Department.
Ruth was a member of the Shippensburg First Church of God, the Kings, Sons, and Daughters Sunday School Class, Church of God Women’s Ministries, Christian Women’s Club and volunteered at the Church of God Home for over 30 years.
Ruth was preceded in death by her husband Ludwig J. Tregl who died November 11, 1999.
She is survived by a son, Ronald L. Tregl and his wife Rose of Carlisle.
Memorial services will be held Tuesday, March 13, 2012 in the Shippensburg First Church of God at 11 a.m. Officiating will be The Rev. William Myers. A private burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery. There will be no viewing however a visitation will be held a half hour prior to the services in church.
