Ruth M. Capazo, 90, a resident of the Messiah Village, Mechanicsburg, passed away on Thursday, July 8, 2010 in the home.
Born June 9, 1920, in Scranton, she was a daughter of the late Emory and Gertrude Wright Carbaugh.
On June 9, 1938 Ruth married Samuel L. Capazo, preceding her in death on February 12, 1996.
Ruth was a homemaker and mother throughout her life. She attended the Open Door Church, Chambersburg.
Surviving are five daughters; R. Marie Harper of Saegerstown, Trudy L. Capazo of Harrisburg, Gere Burns of Monroeville, Rosemary Bryson of Tuscon, AZ, and Vonnie J. Capazo of Enola, seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and five sisters.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, July 22, 2010 in the Chapel at Messiah Village, Mechanicsburg at 2:30 p.m. The Rev. Debby Bentch will officiate. A private burial will be in the Norland Cemetery, Chambersburg. Visitation will be Thursday afternoon one hour prior to the services in the chapel.
