Ronald Yohe

Ronald E. Yohe, 67, of E. Garfield St., Shippensburg, died Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at his home.

Born Saturday, April 27, 1946 in Chambersburg, Franklin County, he was a son of the late Paul Richard Yohe, Sr. and Myrtle Marie Eutzy Yohe of Shippensburg.

Ronald was a 1964 graduate of Shippensburg Area Senior High School. He was a United States Army Veteran serving in the Vietnam War. He was a self-employed carpenter retiring in 2008, and a member of the Mt. Vernon Christian Missionary Alliance Church.

He was a life member of the Durff-Kuhn V.F.W. Post #6168 and the Hub City Social Club, both in Shippensburg. He was a member of the Marine Corp. League in Chambersburg. Ronald was an avid Dale Earnhardt Sr. fan. He loved hunting, fishing, camping and loved woodworking, baking and spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 47 years, Judith A. Carey Yohe;
two daughters, Joni R. Scott and Tanya S. Yohe, both of Shippensburg; three grandsons, Nicholas P. Yohe, Frank E. Scott Jr., and Colby J. Scott all of Shippensburg; one granddaughter, Kayla N. Scott of Gastonia, NC; four brothers, William James Yohe of Shippensburg, Paul R. Yohe of Newburg, Roger L. Yohe of Newville, and Brian K. Yohe of Shippensburg; four sisters, Joyce Y. Harding of Fayetteville, Emma J. Baker and Lisa J. Kelley both of Shippensburg, and Lynne R. Yohe of Chambersburg; a son-in-law Frank E. Scott Sr. of Shippensburg.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 21, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home with the Rev. Reuben C. Coldsmith officiating. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens with military honors conducted by the Shippensburg Veterans Council. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Franklin/Fulton Unit, 384 Floral Avenue, Chambersburg, PA 17201.
