Ronald Hutchinson

Ronald E. Hutchinson, 70, of Pleasant Hall, died on Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at his home, with his family by his side.

Born on July 12, 1939 in Chambersburg, a son of the late Paul C. and Annabel Varner Hutchinson.

Earlier in life, Ronald was employed as a guard, at the Cumberland County Prison, retired from the Scotland School for Veterans Children, where he worked as a house parent, and most recently was self-employed as a painter.

Ronald enjoyed the outdoors, camping, and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Jocelyn; four children, Phillip John (Trista) Wingert of Orrstown, Jonathan Wingert of Pleasant Hall, Rebecca Wingert (Phillip S.) of Chambersburg, and Rachel Wingert of Pleasant Hall; his children from his first marriage, Ronald E. (Natallie) Hutchinson, Jr. of Newville, Patty Hutchinson of Shippensburg, Penny Hutchinson of Shippensburg, Michelle (Bill) Klusman of Shippensburg, Stacey (Shane) Briskell of Aspers, and Bobby Jo Wesley; eleven grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 15, 2010 at the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home, Inc., Shippensburg. The Rev. Karen Minnich-Sadler will officiate. Interment will be in the New Guilford Cemetery, Chambersburg. Visitation will be Friday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Saturday, at the funeral home.
