Roger D. Leeper, 63, of Shippensburg, passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2020 at his home, surrounded by his loving family.
Born Tuesday, June 11, 1957 in Waynesboro, he was a son of Richard E. and Joan Marie Wetzel Leeper.
Roger was a graduate of the Chambersburg Area Senior High School. He was the owner and operator of Leeper Notary Service where he worked as a Settlement Agent with over 20 years of service.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling, especially taking cruises, and playing sports at family gatherings.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of 32 years, Jeanine D. Leonard Leeper whom he married October 4, 1987; four children, Kylene M. Leeper, Fayetteville, Jason R. Potter, Gettysburg, David W. Potter, Fayetteville, and Brian A. (Stephanie) Potter, Chambersburg; six grandchildren, Andrew D. Leeper, Isabella D. Leeper, Cynthia Peters, Blake D. Potter, Olivia R. Potter, and Dallas Haines; one brother, Dwayne E. Leeper, Fayetteville; and two sisters, Connie S. (Tim) Adams, and Carla F. (James) Paul.
Roger was preceded in death by a brother, Craig A. Leeper.
Funeral services will be held Friday, July 17, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium Inc., with the Rev. Adam Leeper officiating. Burial will in Parklawns Memorial Gardens. A viewing will be held Thursday, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
