Rodney, L. “Rod” LeBeau, 68, of Orrstown, passed away Thursday, June 30, 2022 at the Chambersburg Hospital.
Born Monday, March 8, 1954 in Chambersburg, he was a son of the late Leo A. and Ruth E. Swanger LeBeau.
Rod was a 1972 graduate of the Chambersburg Area Senior High School. He retired as a delivery driver from Amerigas in Shippensburg.
He was a member of Let Some Live Sportsmen’s Club in Orrstown, and the Letterkenny Rod & Gun Club. Rod loved hunting and fishing. He loved and cherished his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Debra Lee Swartz LeBeau whom he married April 26, 1986; three sons, Terry L. Ryder, Mark C. (wife Shelly) Ryder, and Roy F. (wife Barbie) Ryder, all of Amberson; one sister, Jean (husband Denny) Toms; Roxbury; one brother, Frank LeBeau, Newburg; nine grandchildren, Mark C. Ryder, Jr., Jason N. Ryder, Deana J. Stevens, Chelsea L. Ryder, Miriah L. Ryder, Freddie C. Ryder, Frankie Ryder, Fawne L. Ryder, and Ayden M. Ryder; five great grandchildren, Conrad Ryder, Wayde Stevens, Luke Ryder, Walker Stevens, and Garrett Ryder; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Robin Stake, and Roxanne Watson; one brother, Norman LeBeau; and one grandson, Heath C. Ryder.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. at the Greenvillage Church of God, with Pastor Matthew Tosten officiating. Burial will be private. A viewing will be held Tuesday, from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. at the church.
