Robert E. "Bob" Wyrick

Robert E. “Bob” Wyrick, 82, of Shippensburg, passed away the morning of Friday, March 7, 2025 at his home.

He was born on January 25, 1943 in Carlisle, a son of the late Robert P. and Joyce Shank Wyrick.

Bob was a 1961 graduate of the Shippensburg High School and was the caretaker for Spring Hill Cemetery for nearly 65 years. He loved spending time at his cabin and in his earlier years enjoyed trapping. An avid outdoorsman, Bob loved hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed collecting fishing lures, traps, and old milk bottles.

He is survived by two sons, Timothy E. (Chris) Wyrick of Shippensburg, and Kevin L. (Jenel) Wyrick of Orrstown; three grandchildren, Hunter C. (companion, Lauren) Wyrick of Hanover, Hannah J. (Dan) Black of Mechanicsburg, and Carter J. Wyrick of Orrstown; one great-grandchild, Elsie Wyrick; and one brother, Jeff (Lorna) Wyrick of Bedford.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Darlene M. Baughman Wyrick, who passed away on November 25, 2020; and one daughter, Lisa J. Wyrick, who passed away on January 2, 2011.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Spring Hill Cemetery. Pastor Bruce Levy will officiate.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc., Shippensburg.
