Robert W. Worthington, 76, of Shippensburg, died Sunday, May 13, 2012 at home.
Born November 1, 1935 in Spring Run, Franklin County, he was a son of the late Warren R. and Bertha Emma Miley Worthington.
Robert retired from T.B. Woods in Chambersburg.
He was preceded in death by one son, Gary L. “Buck” Worthington, one great granddaughter, Mia Smith, his companion of 32 years, Joyce Chilcoate, one brother, and one sister.
He is survived by two sons, Robert E. Worthington and his wife Lori of Shippensburg, and Terry L. Worthington and his wife Cindy of Elizabethtown, one daughter, Kathy Worthington of Elizabethtown, eight grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 17, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home, Shippensburg with The Rev. Paul K. Hauk officiating. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens. A viewing will be held Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. in the funeral home.
