Robert A. “Bob” Weigle, Jr., 67, of Orrstown, PA, passed away on Friday, September 14, 2018, after a valiant struggle with glioblastoma multiform. The legacy of Bob’s integrity, kindness, and unconditional love will live on through his family. He taught us through his mastery of literature, enthusiasm for music, expertise in industrial sciences, love of wilderness, and his appetite for knowledge and wisdom. Because of his wonder and zest for life, Bob never took a break from providing his family with new experiences and joyful memories. He was a skilled craftsman, an avid fisherman, and a talented guitarist, and musician. With his music playing, he was planning his next adventure right into his final hours. Most of all, he was a devoted and selfless husband, father, grandfather, and friend.
Born May 8, 1951 to the late Robert A. Weigle, Sr. and Betty (Keesecker). Bob is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Cathy A. (Sheaffer) Weigle, his two daughters, Jennifer and Jessica, his best friend and son-in-law, Daniel S. Merriman, seven grandchildren: JD, Jacob, Tristin, Micaela, Evelyn, Ashley, and Stephanie, Ashley and a grandson-in-law Eric Maxson. He is also survived by his sister, Cynthia L. Black and brother-in-law John L. Black, niece, Debra; nephews John, Matthew, and Benjamin.

In lieu of flowers, spend time with your loved ones, treasure every moment, go fishing with your grandkids, play some cards, hike every mountain trail, swim in the world’s oceans; this is what Bob would wish for you.
