Robert Mcmullen

Robert W. McMullen, 83, of Shippensburg, passed away Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at home.

Born Friday, April 8, 1938 in Huntingdon County, PA. Robert was a son of the late Noah J. and Nancy A. (Naugle) McMullen.

He retired from the Chambersburg Engineering Company.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Mike Black; two brothers; and seven sisters.

Robert is survived by his wife of almost 64 years, Donna J. (Shindledecker) McMullen, whom he married August 15, 1957; five children, Debra Watson, Jeffrey (Debra Kay) McMullen, Bobbie Black, Pam (Richard) Etter and Greg (Shawna) McMullen; seven grandchildren, Cory (Wendy) Etter, Ryan (Brittani) Black, Lindsay (Ryan) Evanchak, Lauren (Aaron) West, Kristi (Trent) Webster, Zachary McMullen and Brian McMullen; two great-granddaughters; five great-grandsons; and a great-grandson on the way. He is also survived by four brothers, Glenn, Kenneth, Noah, Jr. and Leonard McMullen; one sister, Betty Suders; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 14, 2021 at 1 p.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Shippensburg. Officiating will be Pastor Leon Davis. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery. A viewing will be held Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. in the funeral home.
