Robert Kochenour

Robert E. “Bob” Kochenour, 84, of Shippensburg, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 4, 2018 after a 3 month battle with pancreatic cancer.
Born Sunday, March 26, 1933 in Manchester, York County, he was a son of the late Edwin W. and Madaline B. Mundis Kochenour.
Bob retired as a Commercial Artist and Illustrator & Art Director at The Beistle Company in Shippensburg.
Bob was a United States Air Force Staff Sergeant, serving during the Korean War. He was a member of the BMW Motorcycle Owners of America, and the Tri-State Astronomers. Bob was an avid bicycle rider, cross country skier, and enjoyed cross country motorcycling.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Alice Eva Nickelson; two sons, Mark E. Kochenour, and Chris A. (wife Suzie) Kochenour, all of Shippensburg; two daughters, Lisa M. (husband Keith) Gardner, Newburg, and Dawn “Ellie” Clugh, Orrstown; two sisters, Phyllis Kohr, Hanover, and Audrey Druck, Mt. Wolf; and four granddaughters.
Funeral services and burial will be private.
