Robert E. Harrison, Sr., 75 of Shippensburg, died Wednesday, May 25, 2011 in his home.
Born March 21, 1936 in Chambersburg, he was a son of the late Guy and Daisy Cline Harrison.
Robert retired from James River in Chambersburg and was a graduate of the Chambersburg High School. He was a member of the Shippensburg Church of the Nazarene and a United States Army veteran of the Korean War.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one son, Steven Keith Harrison and one daughter, Amy Harrison.
He is survived by his wife, Annette M. Hess Harrison, two daughters, Julie L. Deihl and Jessica M. Hoyt and her husband Jason all of Shippensburg, two sons, Robert E. Harrison, Jr. and his wife Kathy of Gettysburg, and Jeffrey L. Harrison of Chicago, IL, two brothers, Ray Harrison of Upper Strasburg, and Melvin Harrison of Newburg, two sisters, Nancy Gelsinger and Bonnie Brown both of Chambersburg and five grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held Tuesday, May 31, 2011, in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home, Inc., Shippensburg at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be private. There will be no viewing, however, a visitation will be held one hour prior to the services in the funeral home.
