Richard E. “Dick” Yohe, 65, of Lebanon, departed this life on the evening of Friday, December 18, 2020, at the Good Samaritan Hospital.
He was born on September 18, 1955, in Orrstown, son of the late Wilbur and Anna (Starr) Yohe.
Dick worked in building and grounds maintenance at Londonderry Village and really enjoyed working there. He was an excellent cook, loved to go hunting, was a lover of country music, and was known to brag about his Fords.
Dick was a very kind hearted man, who would talk to anyone and could make friends very easily, and was known to offer the last dollar out of his pocket if someone would need it. When he was around there was never a dull moment because he would always be telling jokes, trying to make people laugh. Dick loved Cindy, his kids, grandkids, and friends. He never hung up the phone without saying I love you and will be missed so very much.
Dick is survived by his companion and love of his life for over twenty years, Cynthia Foster of Lebanon; four children, Stephanie Clopper and husband Benjamin of Quincy, Tara Yohe of Shippensburg, Tiffany Jimenez-Alvarez and husband Magbis of Scotland, and Dustin E. Yohe and wife Amanda of Red Lion; three step-children, Sophie, Angie, and Nicholas; eleven grandchildren, Cortney, Larren, Kixten, Dyona, Nahalyn, RaeLea, Leighton, Omari, Landyn, LeAnna, and Clayton; two great grandchildren, Cannon, Rylee, and Jaedyn; ten step grandchildren; four step-great grandchildren; four siblings, Marvin, Marvena, Charlene, and Don; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Dick was preceded in death by one sister, Vera, and one brother, Bobby.
His funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Monday, December 28, 2020, at the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc., Shippensburg. Pastor Troy Neil will officiate. Interment will follow in the Air Hill Cemetery. Viewing will be one hour prior to the service on Monday, at the funeral home.
